Release date and some questions

Post by gniiid »

I got to say that im really impressed of IWD2 but has the release date been spoken of?
I've bought and played all of the Blackisle RPG games and so far and BG2 was the absolute best with the coolest quests and best dialogs/weapons/monsters, but IWD had the most fantastic music and most heartdashing world scenary...Can I expect the same from IWD2 that I saw in IWD? And did anyone hear if there more dialogs and quests?
IWD was really bad in that aspects (dialogs, quests)

(If my english gramar was somewhat bad or rosty, it can depend on that im swedish and hate english lessions.) *lol* :D

@gniiid:
No specific date have been announced, but the projected release is somewhere in May. Right now the game is going through some last minute QA testing and modifying.

Don't know how reliable it is, but Gamespot has the release date set as May 28. As far as quests and dialog, it appears from what I have read that there will be not much difference between the two games. Supposedly more screens, areas, lots of new kits and subraces. I am looking forward to it. :cool:

I've heard late May for the since the beginning of the year. Thus far, no changes.
