Spells that bypass magic resist, and few interesting ideas...

so which spells always work? or bypass magic resist or has no save?

earthquake, will by pass magic resistance and punch thru, but collateral damage makes it risky. use with aerie for chain effect.

dragon breath, good spell, but cannot bechained, and will not work on fire immunes, like monkey boy in watchers keep.

bolt of glory, THE spell trigger for aerie. will kill most pitfiends with one spell trigger.

str spell, will lower ability of adamantine or iron golems to hurt you.

natures beauty...best reason for jahirea...no save, but can be resisted.

now i got a question, will certain timestop immune creatuers in tob, like monkey boy, be vulnerable to the quest ability time trap? will you get the free two rounds of combat? has anybody tried this??

ever heard of the clua console item called laser???

small wand of lightning, but equipped into crossbow, will fire lightning bolts, about 4 a round , forever. every danagerous, of course, but got me thinking....have main pc go into mind flayer room under mislead, shut door, then have mazzy "guard" main char, who has cloak of mirrors. the bolts should shoot thru the closed door, bounce around, and waste them all. finally a solution to the half mythical attempy by bolt mages over the years to make lightning bolt not such a annoying spell to setup...

might test out later today, currently in bue dragon area.

finishing tob for 2nd time with hacked char, might go for fun to see how cool a cleric kensai sorc might be....biggest probelm with creating this char is too MANY spells...makes spell selection difficult, so plan to REMOVE many mage and cleric psells, then lock into final place with sk...

Haven't used LASER, but thought the ammo for the Big Metal Rod was pretty cool - equipping my assassin with those and the Firetooth crossbow turned her into a one-man army.

I once blew away most of Saradush out of boredom....

those of you who think the big metal rod is cool, but dont kno why, its really simple.....the pulsar is like wand of magic missile, but shoots 5 times a round!!! with good crossbow, like firetooth, or just plain heavy crossbow of searing, this will turn mage theives, like nalia and immie, into respectable ranged attackers.
