Vhailor's helm doesn't work!

If i try to cast simulacrum as Vhailor's helm ability, i get message: Save vs. Spell, and then if i try again, i get message: Item drained! I cant sleep after that(You cannot rest at this time)!
Please help me!I tried it whit korgan.

It would not work for me either, i think it is a pretty potent magic item so i would also like to know why it doesnt work.

do you have the Baldurdash fix installed? - I'm not sure it helps but I have never experienced such a problem with the patch installed.

First of All, welcome to the forums lucas.

As for the helmet, check to see what patches you have installed. There was a problem similiar to this in BG1 where chars with high magic resistance couldn't be healed, but it was fixed in BG2 by having characters not try to fight off friendly spells. The helm SHOULD work, it always has for me, but I suggest going to somewhere you can rest, doing so, then give it to a different character and trying it then.

Thanks guys! I patched my game whit international patch and it worked! No helm works correctly, thanks again!
