Post by Jerion »

Could anyone tell me what override and directory is...
dont laugh now...
Woe to you, Oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the beast with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
Let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast for it is a human number, its number is Sixhundred and sixtysix."

The override directory is located in your BGII or any other Infinity Engine game folder, files that are placed there make the game ignore the files that have the same name in the big data files (*.bif ?). For example, use Near Infinity to extract KITLIST.2DA or any other file, edit it and place into the override directory and the game will use the edited file instead of the original.

ah... I misunderstood your question, but I got it now... override and directory.

A directory a subdivision of a hard disk in which files are stored, when you click on the My Computer then on drive C: you can see many directories there... Program Files for example.

Override is just a name of a directory and I explained what it's used for in my prev post.
