Vampire Help

I was wondering how to kill vampires with the wooden stakes? When I have killed a vampire, they have turned into a gaseous form. I don't believe I am done with the quest. This is referring to Ch. 3 with Aran and killing Lassal.

You must stake their coffins. Look at the walkthrough here at Gamebanshee.

There is a coffin room in bhody's layer to the left. just drag your cursor over the coffins and it will turn into a sword and you can stake them.
