F/T can't get beyond Mastery???

Post by Skuld »

I just started a game with an Elven Fighter/Thief and I can't go beyond weapon mastery. It says nothing in the manual about this and I was wondering if it's just common knowledge or what?

A multi-class fighter may only specialize in any weapon skill.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Thanks.... but why don't they print these things? I might as well have gone with a straight Thief, and I think I'm gonna go start one now and see how it goes.

Try dual-classing next time, from fighter to thief.

I think I'll start out as a Thief to get all my pickpocketing done, and then dual to Fighter. I'll try the Thief to Fighter route first and if that doesn't work I'll go fighter first. Thanks.

Hey, no problem.
It all depends on what you want.
So if it´s only some pickpocket skills your after, then yes, go thief
first and then dual class to fighter.
Anyway, have fun. ;)

I decided to stay with the multi F/T. I just think the Elves look better than Humans and I just love having that 19 Dex. BTW I tried starting as a Thief but I was running through potions like crazy and ultimately dying.

You should try an elf as Fighter/Mage/Thief, nice to solo with :)

I agree. I soloed through with a Half-Elf F/T/M. It's fun to take on over a dozen Fire Giants and take no damage. ;) :D

IIRC a F/M/T only gets one quick weapon slot and that's just so annoying.

Yeah, the F/M/T has a lot of disadavantages too, like the single weapon slot which results in a lot of annoying weapon switching, and the constant switching with armor (to cast spells). Still it worked for me.
