Can someone pls, pls help me?

I have been playing ToB like 5 times now. But have only been able to complete it once. Thats not that i suck, no hehe. Its cause i have been target for a lame bug. The first time it was ok, nothing happend, but the next games it has been the same all the time. So here the bug goes:
When u have killed the first child of baahl and u enter ur planarroom (or whatever its called) and u get ur first quest there to kill a lot of summoned monster. After u have done that the room shall change from a room with lava to a more nice room with 5 plates at the ground. For me thats the opposite. I start with a nice room and end up with a room with lava. It will work til when i shall fight the last fight but then it says that ihavent completed all quest (or something like that).
If it had happend to any of the other 4 quests could i have skiped them since they had changed to the nice looking room. But i hve to fight this fight since i get the ability to travel back and forth tothe real world.

I have reinstalled, i have (which not has to do with that i couldnt play ToB, it had other reasons) reinstalled Windows and done some other ´things too, but nothing has changed it. The strange thing is that i have completed it once, but aint able to do it any more. I have the latest patch.
If someone knows anything about this bug, pls mess me. I would be very grateful to get any positive answer.

This is not a bug - this is occurring for you because either you're playing an evil character or your reputation is too low. This is the only test that works this way - the other tests' outcomes are based on your answers to Solar.

Have you tried posting this in the BIS BG2 Troubleshooting forum?

Edit: From here, verify that you've completed all five of the challenges, in particular, the second challenge, which some people tend to miss.

so u mean Sojourner that if i had answered in other ways when i talked to the solar then wouldnt it have been like that? i mean really an evil character, but i think its lame that they have made it like this, if it was with purpose... But can i fix it so it will be good again? or do i have to kill Irenicus again (since i have no saved file left before i started the planarquest) ?

If u are right about that i can talk to the solar to prevent this, what shall i say? I mean i do wanna complete it and it sucks that this happen all time.. I cant say that i have been evil allignment all the time, but maybe cause i think thats better

I think I've confused you. Let me re-explain:

The first test: The outcome (area appearance) is based on your alignment and reputation. If your reputation is too low, or you're evil, this test area changes to the "bad" appearance.

The other tests: Based on your answers to Solar. If you give "evil" answers, the appearance for those test areas change to the "bad" appearance.

Your problem with going to the final area is not based on the appearance of the test areas. You probably forgot to do one of the tests (the 2nd test is one most often forgotten). You need to go in each test area to make sure.

So it doesnt really matter if i have lots of lavainstead of the 6 plates in the ground when i have completed all quests? That was pretty relieving to hear

Maybe i missed any of the quest before or so, but this time shall i not do it

I did restart it again and killed Irenicus. But its worth the time cause i really love the final lines from Minsc. And irenicus aint that hard anyway. So now im off for ToB again
