Cloak of Mirrors problem
Cloak of Mirrors problem
It seems that ToB changed the way the Cloak of Mirrors affects my characters appearance. It used to just put a silver disk under my char's feet exactly like the Cloak of Reflection, now it puts up the giant glowing sphere (or hamster ball as my wife calls it). I HATE this change, it makes it hard to see what is in front of my char!!! Is there any way to alter its appearance or make it put the silver disk back under my char instead?? Does CLUA console work?? I like the item and have it on my main character, but I don't like the way I can't see what is going on around my char. I don't want to get rid of it, but I HATE the glowing ball, please help!!!
For future reference, as fable will do unerrignly point out, don't post a topic in both SoA and ToB forums, especially if it is a ToB related question. , but there is a patch you can download from http://www.teambg.com that will solve that. A lot of people hate it actually.
The waves came crashing in like blindness.
So I just stood and listened.

thanks, I didn't post this on both forums though, I only posted it in the SoA forum, I guess someone moved my post. I'm new here & didn't think about posting it in this forum, as such I didn't search in this forum either, but I DID search the SoA forum, so it wasn't that I didn't bother, I just didn't think to look in this forum, I can delete this post if it is a problem.

Hey no worries!
I am directly ripping this off shamelessly from Sabre's site:
http://www.users.bigpond.com/qtnt/BGII%20patches.htm
His patch should cure the Cloak of Mirroring effect to a fare-thee-well.
EDIT Oops! Just saw another thread below with the same question. Oh well.
