I learned how to create Custom items. When I do this I try not to throw the balance of the game off that much. Since I'm still learning I'm doing weapons and armour . Since I enjoy doing it, if anyone needs a weapon tell what kind, damage and so forth. Ill make any weapon you want. If you want a Katana of Your name, give me you class stats and race. That ca assure that it will usable by only you almost. cant do for only you since that's hardcoded into the game. like i just made a 2-H sword called the pull. Also I can make the weapon look like almost anything. haven't gotten the talking down but I'm working on it. Just Leave a Message and your e-mail and ill send it zipped with a readme on how to get it to work.
Any thing in itallics was not said by ron but(following in his foot steps) i can make items and not wanting to be selfish i will share my gift, i will only take 2 items at a time so no request after the first to or it goes to the back of the line!

Dagger of Quickness +4
This dagger's origin goes back hundreds of years. It was given to a mortal thief named Tolozar by the goddess Shar, the queen of night. She had it made for him as a reward for many services he had done for her without questions. He was indeed a good thief, but his lack was his speed. Though skillfull he was, quite out of the ordinary bliefs rather slow in his movements, though he made it up by his almost magic-like ability to hide in shadows and to move silently. With this dagger he was able to be as quick-feeted as an elf and able to wield another weapon in his left hand making him a capable fighter as well as even a better thief. It was taken from him by a large group of fanatics who were able to trick him into a room that had no windows nor furniture or anything else but brick walls other than a glass roof that didn't give him any shadows to hide. Even the dagger's abilities didn't help him when the 50 fanatics charged at him and eventually killed him, the dagger has had many users since.
Raises the wielder's dexterity to 19
Gives 2 points to dual wield
Immunity to hold
Gives 15% magic resistance
1 extra attack
ThacO: +4
Damage: 1d4+4 +5 piercing damage
Speed Factor: 0
Usable by: Thiefs & fighters including multi and dual-classed (clerics excluded)
The story is kind of long eh?
Anybody wants to comment, i'll glady read it, (i made it up 2:00am in the morning) don't cut my head off..

Twin (x2) Meloudious Scimitars
A pair of scimitars forged in complete secrecy during the Time of Troubles by the elves of Suldenesselar. This twin weapons were used in the court of Queen Ellesime, by those of her chosen. In the years since their forging, no species outside of the elves have ever held, or been in possesion of these blades, thus is the power imbubed in them. The Twin blades, particulary potent in the hands of Blade Singer, glow with inner power, and only those who have possesed the weapons know their deep secrets.

Thac0: +3

Speed Factor 0
Usable by: Elves, fighters (single/multi/dual-class), Blade Singers (Darkest Day)

Good luck with this one Craig
The Riven read it in a book one time
A scimitar that posesses the power to kill anything on first strike no matter what. Only problem is it will only kill that creatue once. ex Silver Dragon- Slain never to slay a silver dragon again but other dragons allowed. Goblin-slain can never kill one again. It wont even attack regular and once equipped can be never taken off. it was a nice sword i read about. Everytime it killed something it burned an inscription of the creature on the blade as to symbolize what it has killed it was a bad ass sword can u make? good luck

Gee thanks Craig, youre the King
As to the one ring, good Idea, but remove the cursed aspect and all the alignment shifting things, just make it have a %10 chance or something of summoning 9 shadow fiends. Close enough.
Make it 2005 cuz I havent even STARTED the remaining items for the other 4 members.
Hell, I may as well make a mod, that is, if I had any skill

Does the phrase "game balance" mean anything to you guys? I mean how excited can you get about killing kobolds as a level 40 fighter? The "challenge" is one of the reasons I like BG2 so much along with the enormous amount of time spent by the creators making each character as "real" as possible (and no I don't mean there are people running around killing everything in sight with swords, axes, etc.). Creating all these "super weapons" might be initially amusing but I enjoyed myself the most when I almost died, but still won the fight. Maybe it's just me. Of course, you guys can do what you want as you paid the money for the game same as I did. Just my opinion and I do not wish to offend anyone. Killing Jon Irenicus was hard the first time and I loved it every second. I would only opt for one of these "super weapons" if they made it nigh impossible to kill him.
Well you see RJ, for the most part, i agree with you, however, its FUN having personnalized wpns and armour, really it is. In the game, with the exception of a dagger (whoop) you can get nothing that is specific to you. Now, if you look at ToB, the wpns being made here arent that powerful in relation.
The wpns I'm "commisioning" however, are made to the LOTR universe, or at least as I see it. I want to make a run with the fellowship, maybe, someday, make a mod.
Making custom wpns doesnt ruin the game or make it any less challenging, it just adds a new dimension to it.

Most of these aren't all that powerful. look at my request? what was so powerful about those scimitars? =3, which is average for this game, and some magic resistence and extra attack. wehn compared ot weapons like the Crom Fayer(sp?) and Daybringer, and other weapons like (esp. from ToB) this is chump change!Originally posted by RJFROST:
