I was doing the severed hand when i stumbled upon the corellon lathenian amu (or whatever the name is).
I put it on my dwarf fighter for the +2 thaco.
Suddenly in lower dorns deep my dwarf had -65 thaco. "Hmm somethings wrong here" i figured. (Clever or what )
I found out that when i removed this amulet i didnt loose the thaco bonus it gives. The when i put it on again i get 2 additional thaco. So i could keep doing that too get an Uber thaco.
But since im not a cheater (and i would consider using the amulet to get Uber thaco cheating) i want 2 get my dwarfs normal thaco back.
Any suggestions?
Btw. I heard something about Nym beeing able too forge an armor. Is this BS or can anyone shed some light on this for me?
You can use DaleKeeper to edit your dwarf's THACO back to what it should be. I don't recall Nym making any armor, but if you bring him a rhino beetle shield, he'll improve it for you. Dirty Llew, located in the same area as Nym, will sell you Umber Hulk armor (wearable by druids!) and will also make you a rhino beetle shield.
BTW, if you haven't already, download the official patch - it fixes a lot of bugs.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
