Hello all
Hello all. I have been researching other guilds including this one. I am a fresh member of the botb. And i do have to say this seems like the most tidy and most organized guild(group) that i have come across. Not trying to give anyone the big head or anything but i just would like to congratulate everyone that has had something to do with the development of the guild. I havn't posted in a while (just observing mostly). I do have one question, who do i contact if i want to make a few changes to my character? Im debating making my character neutral evil(goes better with the bio im writing) which is only on my head as of now. And thinking of changing my half-elf to a fighter/wizard instead of just a fighter. Any comments on that class? Any would be appreciated. Leaning towards more of a fighter than a wizard but i would like to throw some spells now and then when the need declares it.

And also remember, if you plan on playing in Argyle, magic is very feared amongst a large percentage of the citizens. You won't want to "throw around spells," but instead use them at precise moments. Otherwise, you might have a mob hunting you down.

Yes, all the limitations apply for a mage I believe. You can wear fighter armor, but the heavier it is, the more it will affect Arcane spells. Do you have the 3rd Edition Player Handbook. I suggest you get it, as it will answer all your question.
By the way, glad you like our guild. I think we're all working hard to make sure we're a quality guild with quality role-playing. Jump in on the conversations if you've got an opinion.

i have the D&D character generation program on here for 3ed. I might go look into that and see what exactly are the limitations and penalties to my spells with armor. Thanks for the advice, i might just keep my regular ole fighter(not sure yet). Sounds boring but i like playing with them. My personality relates lol

The only thing we ask, is that you are dedicated to your character - and not just some "griefer" player that is in this to become the most powerfull so you can "own" the other peopleOriginally posted by average joe
Play whatever character you like. We certainly won't criticize a boring ol' fighter, as they have just as much a place in the realms as any other class.
(Nothing wrong with being the most powerfull to rule the world, as long as you will try to roleplay it)

Well, I believe what Xandax meant is that we want you to be dedicated to your player in that you role-play, not meta-game or whatever it is non-roleplayers do.
Basically, act the way your character would, not the way that will get you the most gold or benefits or whatever....unless your character would act that way. That may not be very clear, but I can't really think of a better way to explain it.
Regardless, Artemis, I'm sure you'll do fine and will be a great addition to the Blades of the Banshee.
