Perusing the forums at Argyle, I came across this message from Uniden, one of the TaT'ers.
Even with the current revealations into the limitations of the Game we whould be able to add content but we wont be able to change area tiles once people start playing in them.
This means that houses can't be designed by the players
It was something I really wanted to do but wont be able to now. However You should be able to design the interior of the house and I can use that. It will just force us to pur more buildings in towns and people can buy a pre-set building send me the interior area they want and I'll give them the key. All this for the right price of course.
Well the good news of course is that we can actually own a guild house, the bad news is that we can't customise it to the level that we would like unless we come up with a plan before Argyle goes live.
So, with this in mind, how about we think about how we want our Argyle guild house to be constructed?
(Just a request to all people who might say I'm doing this too early, I don't think I am because we need to think about this before it becomes too close to the deadline. )
well i would suggest we only have maybe one level above ground and go down underneath like a bunker, with maybe a level for each different wing of the guild with maybe a courtyard training ground for combined tactics and such in the ground floor level
You can design your guild house anyway you see fit, as long as it can be implemented in NWN. So a good way would be when you get the game have a play around with the toolset and then load it up so your members can have a look and offer comments.
On the Argyle side of things, once the guild is established (not at the beginning of the game of course you could then save up the cash to build your guildhall. Would be pretty expensive I would say, but a large guild, by the time they have actually established themselves should not have any problems.
Though of course you would have land tax and what not
I will just slink around now, sorry for posting......

The nature guild should have a Gazebo or a patio, you know how important out side is . Then at the main entrance we should have a secutary(/Thief) and a large waiting room, with various stalls, over to the right can be (Half of the)Thieves guild, with a stage. Behind the Secutaries place can be the entrance to the main guild, over to the right is the thieves guild, and behind is the library, with entrance to the Mages guild. Opposite the Thieves guild, is the Fights guild (They have the least to steal and can come out to block any invaders) behind them (opposite the Mages guild) we can have a chapel for the divine guild + Holy water + Pews and stuff. And at the back can be a Natures wing, tree house (Like Montello’s).
This is all in my mind though, it will probably cost a lot, and I need a few ideas for the Tree house.
My goodness! I say we just get a cave and all sit around the campfire!
As stated before, I'd like to clear out something, whether that be a thieves guild (not Sev's, though ), a dungeon, or a small keep. Then, we can convert something that was once used against us as our temporary base.
However, I think we ought to eventually try and rebuild the old academy on the same site as the ruins. What they tear down stone by stone, we rebuild.

Can anyone explain to me how this will be going when NWN is released? We will live on Argyle (in NWN) along with other guilds on a persistent world. We have tot do quest in other to collect some money , so we can build a guild house. This is how I am picturing it in this moment. If this is the case, who will DM this world? What will be the other guilds?
Or to be short: What the hell r u ppl talking about
Broken promises
"They made us many promises,
more than I can remember.
But they kept but one -
They promised to take our land...
and they took it"
Argyle is made by a couple of canadian DMs that wish to create a RP-world for NwN.
It will be meant to be a persitant world with DM controlled events.
The game will be inhabited by NPC and PC characters.
Guys, I've had a discussion with Rhino about this. For right now, I'll just say that I don't think the Blades are going to have to worry about where it is or how it's configured until we actually form the guild. And we should be able to reconfigure it at least once duing the game.
