2 areas i need help with

first i can't get out of the city. i goto the city gates section and head out of the gate and it takes me back to the map. second i'm suppose to find this paladin in the graveyard and i found him but when i came back for him he was gone and this was in the day time

1: If running windows XP get the latest patch
and make sure you go out the gates (the top right)

2: I had this problem to, he apeared later.

Not sure if I get you right here. When you see the map you should click on the area where you want to go. But this you have to know since you got to the gates... Do you have any "available" areas (they change color if you move the cursor over them) outside the city? You need to accept a quest in order to make them available.

I'm pretty sure you can't find him there all the time. If he's not there during daytime, try nighttime and vice versa.

leaving city

i am using 98 not xp. ok once it takes me to the main map how do i get rid of the city map for the forest map? every time i try to leave by the top right it takes me back to the city map.

You have to go to the "City Gates" once before you're allowed to the forest map.

i found it. just didn't scroll the map far enough to the left (or right depending how you look at it)

Did you also find the Paladin?
I'm not quite sure. I guess you mean the one that suffers from his lost son or something like that...?
He will be at another place in the graveyard. I think at the far end right (or North-East). But for me he was only there during day time. Try it.
He has to do something with a mini-quest. Did you accept it already? The one with the little girl?

lost paladin

i found him. he re-appeared when i got out of my combat problem.
