I was just wondering if this helm exists or if it is a cheat item, because i have saved the feminine girdle the whole game so i can take it and the helm and do the cool thing with edwin/keldorn where they fall in love hehehe plz help?

Yes, there really is one in the game - I've put it on Montaron for laughs. :D However, you can't find it in-game - you have to cheat it in.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

hold up, when do edwin and keldorn fall in love? is then when edwin gets himself turned into edwina or do you need the girdle? You need the helm too? they actually scripted a love story for people who cheat these items in?

The Helm Of Opposite Alignment can be obtained in game by killing the Demon Knight in Durlag's Tower when he first appears. Now, this is very hard to do. I have never bothered to try, but, reliable, and more devious sources have done so.
Note that the Demon Knight does not have this item when you meet him for the second and final time.

The Helm Of Opposite Alignment is identified in the .dat files in the game as HELM02. The NPC Demon Knight is identified as DEATHK1 in the .dat files. He is described as wearing the Helm Of Opposite Alignment. All this information is derived from examining the .dat files using Infinity Explorer.
