sigh... ones again, a problem

hi,

i'm in the underdark. Met Solafein and met him again. So i was sent to the entrance of the mindflayer dungeon. But the mind flayers didn't show up and i could not rescue Phaere. I do remember talking to Solafein there but don't know exactly what he says. When i talk to him again he just says "my mind is occupied with thoughts of the future, i have no time for idle chatter" or something like that.

what should i do and what went wrong?

You're supposed to meet him the area just across the bridge, near where the Kuo Toa ambush you. Load a save game from before you meet him and try again. Speak to him once, and do not leave the area! He should say, "Good, you are here. I was beginning to wonder how long I would have to remain waiting amongst these forsaken rocks before you showed up."

After this dialog is over, wait. After about 10-20 seconds, the Mind Flayers and Phaere should spawn in.

@Karmapax,

Slightly off topic, there is a Planar Sphere patch, among other useful fixes, from Baldurdash that fixes another bug in the drow city.
