Hi, im new to the game, well not that new, i have finished it, but i dont know all there is to know, for example what does the amulets do, and i also saw that somebody said that the green stone amulet, helps with mind flayers, is this right??? plz help me with information like that.

What Astafas sais is simple,

If you have a question, do a seach on the forum is the same question is asked before (a small button (second from the right)) on top of the screen.

If the question is still not answered, feel free to make a thread and ask it.

And yes the greenstone amulet is a help against mindflayers

He is saying that no one can really answer the question 'what does the amulets do?'. Which amulets in particular do you mean? If you have completed the game, you must have noticed that various amulets have various magical powers, which help your character, add to statistics, immunities or provide special abilities etc. There is a complete list of items on this site, here if you want to know what all the magic amulets do, or if you are wondering what the purpose of non-magical amulets is; there is none. All you can do with the silver, gold etc amulets that don't seem to do anything is sell them for cash.

The greenstone amulet does help against mind flayers because it has a special ability which protects your character from Psyonics (the phsychic attacks that mind flayers use). The effect doesn't last very long, but while it is in effect all that mindflayers can do to you is hit you with their fists...which is useless.
