Here's the deal: I played SoA with Edwin in my party 3 times and I know about his transformation to a woman and all..also he changed during my last game BUT that's it. on my first and second game he stayed the same. I know it's not a time issue cuz he was in my party till the end on both games and also I've completed the nether scroll quest. is this a known bug? I tell you I was really looking forward seeing 'him' after I read about it and only on my 3rd game I saw it. now on my current game again he stays the same (he's with me for more than 60 days!)

There is a known bug with the quest; after Edwin get the scroll, he'll start a dialogue with your character, if you choose the option that say that it is a party treasure, then the quest will not continue. Also it might depend on how quickly you go through the game, his quest will only work during chapters 2, 3 and 6 - so if you went too quickly you might have went pass the chapter before the quest can actually start.

no, time is not the issue. I had plenty of time with him before chapter 4 but I did say to him that it's a party treasure (being evil and all) so I guess that's the thing that ruined my quest.
is there a patch to fix this?

As far as i remember, u have to wait 20 days before something happens.
