trouble with D:

Post by warto »

Has anyone had or heard of any problems developing with their D drive after playing BG for extended periods?
My brother had to replace his D drive after it stopped working during one of his BG campaigns and now that I'm playing the same origional copy that he played, my D drive is having trouble!
When I put the discs in the E drive they load like 10 times faster than my D drive. So I was just wondering if other people had the same trouble that we've had.

ya, on my old computer baldur's gate would not install with my regular cd-rom drive, i had to install it with my burner drive, except for my burner was my D and my regular one was E. on my new computer i've had no problems though.
