Lilacor should reduce Charisma

or reputation by like 6. Carrying such a moronic sword around would surely cause a negative impression of you.

spoiler concerning Lilarcor dialogues

If you ask me: Minsc + Lilarcor rocks. And have you tried "converse" with the sword yet (right-click sword in your inventory screen)?
WARNING: spoiler concerning Lilarcor dialogues (can't remember exact dialogue, though) - the first time I heard this one,... man... :D . Twice the fun the way Lilarcor says it.

Advice, heh,... well, besides working on your swordmanship, besides that,... I'd have to think about it... Oh, I know: find somebody rich and kill him. Then find somebody richer and kill him too, hack and slash our way to fortune: wooohoo!

Here's the exact wording (highlight for spoiler):

The sword whistles incredulously. "Advice, eh? Well, besides working a little on your swordsmanship. Besides that, I'd have to think." "Hmmm... find someone rich, and kill them. Find someone richer, and kill them, too! Hack and slash your way to fortune! Woo-hoo!!"

And if you ask for advice while in Chapter 4, you could get this:

"I know! Start swinging! Eventually you'll lop off the head of someone important and then the good fights will REALLY start!"
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

@Stilgar: not all members are that proficient with vB Coding ;) , but I agree Buck can perhaps change the sticky about spoilers and tell people to add the [ color=black ][ /color ] tags. I'll pm him.

Sorry guys, im not going to waste my time doing that. Besides, very rarely does something major get spoiled. Youre usually talking about the most minor stuff (I Mean what lilacor says? Oh no, dont tell me!)

You are bolth right.
For minor things like this, it hardly matters. But for story involved spoilers, the idea is quite good. Besides, it's not really an effort just juse the button.

On the other hand, why change? It's ok now. Let everybody do what they want. :)

Its just everyone is so touchy with spoilers that it almost inhibits discussion.

SPOILER

You have to rescue Imoen

Now really, virtually all of us have played the entire game. The few who havent arent worried about minute details such as what happens in a specific battle or a specific dialogue. A "spoiler" is something which ruins a suprise or the suspense of the story. Minor details dont fit this catagory nor do obvious details.

SPOILER

Its a Beholder in the cult of the unseeing eye.

Now is that really a spoiler? If someone happened to mention that the cult of the unseeing eye worships a beholder, are you REALLY ruining someones fun? No, there is very little suspense attached to that. You find out early in the quest and you dont have to "figure" it out, your told. Its not a spoiler! But instead we have to have 50 *'s or have to highlight text or any other things which inhibit the normal flow of a bulliten board.

I think everyone needs to lighten up about it

Edit - Out of curosity, who has ever NOT read a post because it said spoiler? Just curious if anyone actually has

@GNGSpam, if you have a problem with the siteowner's policy to spoilers, take it up with him via a PM or email. But you're off topic here (even if it is a thread you started), and if you continue to rant about how people shouldn't label posts as spoilers, your posts will be pulled. Fair warning.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
