Greyanna

Post by Denise »

Hi! Can anyone give me some good stategies to fight Greyanna and all her friends? I'm having a hard time with this fight. Like I've tried drawing them out one door by closing the other, but they don't fall for it. I've noticed confusion works pretty slick, but I can usually only get one off, maybe two, and then my wizards are very dead. And usually everyone else. Any advice would be appreciated. Oh, also, am I screwing anything up by blowing up the chests in there with my fireballs? Okay, I think thats all.

Killing Greyanna

I have had quite a problem with Greyanna myself and had to load the game 100 times, before i finally found out, what to do.
the best way - for me - was to stand in the room to the right of Greyanna and then opening the door. A lot of searing light and fireballs - and do not pay attention to anyone than Greyanna herself at first - that will be the easiest (haha - there is no "easy" here) way to take her out - followed by some hack and slash from your fighters - block the door with your fighters to get her to come to you.
If you are in the room to the right of Geryanna, there will be a door in the back of the room and behind that - some of her gangmembers. Sometimes they open the door, sometimes they do not. So keep loading the game, at some point, they will not open the door and you can tak them out later.
By the way - make sure that your sorceres and elfs (if you have one) are standing in positions, where it is hard for Greyanna to reach them.
Hope this can help you?
We are all heroes...you and Boo and I, hamsters and rangers everywhere - rejoice!

That goes for all the difficult fights. Prepare before battle by using spells that raise your AC and your attack bonus, when the fight is at hand use your area effect spells and try to charm a few enemies, if you can, to fight by your site.

As for the fight with greyanna you can check out this thread for more help.

Thanks alot, I'll try that all out. I noticed on that older thread that someone said he was at level 16-17, where most of the other people, and me, where at level 10 or thereabouts. Did I miss a bunch of stuff? Am I too wimpy for this fight? Just curious.

You can actually postpone the fight with Greyanna and exlpore the lower dungeons of the Catacombs thus gaining some more levels that will make the fight easier, but the average level for a full party is area 10-11 level.
