Help! I'm not evil enough!*story spoiler*
Playing the 2nd time with an evil party, I have problems with acting evil in a proper way.
I know you can side with Bodhi, and I know you can kill Adalon and take her blood, but what other evil alternatives are there? Killing Drizzt and his party seems more like a "concept" thing to do, since you can't keep their equipment anyway.
So far my game is turning out very similar to the 1st, probably because I don't really know how to play evil. I use different PNPC:s, but that's about it. Suggestions, anyone? What quests are different from when you play a good party?

ALWAYS choose the bad dialogue. Insult everyone you encounter (except the NPCs, or they'll leave).
Remember the Copper Coronet? Instead of getting te key for Hendak, go tell Lehtinan of Hendak's plans. He'll go kill Hendak
Sahuagin City: Do the king's job and kill the rebel prince.
Underdark: Kill the svirfnebli, kill Solaufein, kill all drow, kill Adalon.
And so on...
You have already finished the game once, so have some fun this time. Who cares if you say something wrong? If they complain, kill them!

I'm asking because I killed them all there playing good party and my reputation wasn't lowered.
@C Elegans : If you play cleric try to kill everyone in Athcala (You know : prot.from evil 10radius, Gate,gate,gate..... ). Alaways try to provoke the battle. Cause more mess, more chaos, desolation...

It's your game...if you only play slightly evilly, that's your choice. I've tried it and I didn't find it satisfying, and you don't seem to either.
There are degrees and methodologies to good and evil and everything else. Combine this with the pigeonholing reputation system and the opportunities for roleplaying are diminished. Why wouldn't a smart evil player or NPC want a good reputation? You can get a lot more done with one, when people trust you and think you're a hero. You can become a lot more powerful. Yet get a good rep. and the "smart" evil NPC's like Edwin walk out on you. Makes no sense. So just play how you want to, and don't worry if it's good or evil enough for anyone else.
There are other opportunities as well that good-aligned players never get to see. You can side with Firkraag and kill Garren Windspear for the deed to his land. You can poison the Druid Grove's holy font to get rid of Faldorn (and everyone else) rather than having Cernd or Jaheira fight her. But it's up to you.
One way of not doing truly evil acts, bu still not getting your reputation to rise is simply to ask for a reward when doing quests.

Side with the prince instead and double cross him, the king will disappear after you've completed the quest and you may not get the time to kill him.
Don't kill everything you see (just the ones that challange you in any way), don't get your reputation under 6, those knights/Cowled wizards that come after you are just annoying and not worth it (you have to pay very much more in shops too).

That seems to point up a significant difference between Europeans and Americans. A European says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with me?" An American says: "I can't understand this, what's wrong with him?"

Thanks everybody! The reason I play evil is to see more alternatives in the game, but it doesn't really suit me, I think. Thanks for all you help, I have already missed out on the slavers quest - never crossed my mind I could double cross Hendak. He seemed such a nice guy...

Been playing the game twice, evil as berzerker/cleric and good as paladin. Somehow trying to be good feels so wrong, doesnt suit me at all. I always play evil, cant change my style.
Disagree with Kevin about being evil and having high rep. Just read the descriptions about being evil, and people would seeyou were evil. Why help rescuing a child from some monsters just to get thepeople tolike you? - unless a bigreward is in it of course!

They are all assumed evil, so you lose nothing save but items. Seems, the prince is a true son of the King, so there is no difference between good and evil.Originally posted by Manveru:
