I have been reading a lot of posts where people claim to have characters with a thac0 in the -30's but I just dont see how that can be. I have soloed a dwarven kensai now and he is level 40 with GM in hammers and dual-wielding Crom and Foebane and he doesn't have that low a thac0 even if it comes close. I think it was something like -27 with main hand.
SO why do I read posts saying Korgan has -20 or a kensai had minus 35? How is that possible? Am I missing something here?
kensai kit typically has mondo thaco bonuses and to hit bonuses...base thaco without any weapons is around -20 or so, add draw on holy might and bracers and killer +5 or higher weapon, i typically run around -30...
