We, the developers of the Kelsey NPC mod, have been trying to secure celebrity endorsement for Kelsey for some time. Unfortunately, on the sort of budget a free download can generate, this has not been easy.

Eventually, our press people contacted Cespenar's press people and, after extended negotiation, we are proud to present the following joint announcement.

Hello, computer peoples! Cespenar here!

Why you not be downloading Kelsey yet? Is you not familiar with the cutting and pasting of addresses like http://www.forgottenwars.net/kelsey/ where you can find all the download addresses for Kelsey?

Cespenar wishes that someone would let him join the Great One's party! Could bring many recipes on the road, oh yes! But in meantime, maybe you would like help of someone like Kelsey? He is a nice redheaded peoples who casts many spells and serves the Great One! Almost as good as Cespenar.

Kelsey comes in a ZIP file and is very easy to install on your thing with all the blinking lights. ZIP is okay, but Cespenar prefers RAR files. RAR. RAAAAAAAAAAAR!! Did Cespenar scare you?

Kelsey is one of the human peoples, and knows all about sorcery, which means he casts lots and lots of spells but does not stay up all night drinking coffee and reading dusty old spellbooks. This is good, because lets Cespenar do more cleaning at night. Big peoples stay up late, they make bigger messes, means Cespenar has to work harder.

So, why you not be downloading Kelsey already?

You maybe heard that sorcerers be sucky? You must have enough wax in your ears to make candles! Sorcerers have more tricks up their sleeves than Cespenar has sleeves, and Cespenar has SOME wardrobe, I will have youse know!

Cespenar serves the Great One, but Cespenar knows even Great Ones get lonely. Makes Cespenar sad to see. Also very dangerous for Cespenar when the Great One is pent-up and cranky. So if your Great One is a lady human, elfie, half-elfie, or halfling peoples, Kelsey will blow in her ear and do all that mushy stuff! Gross!

You no like the mushy stuff? Ooooooookay, your loss...but Kelsey has lots of things to say to other big peoples, like Minsc and Korgan and Keldorn and all of the Great One's other friends.

Kelsey even comes with new shiny ones! Not as good as shiny ones Cespenar makes, but they not bad. Wears dark red cloak, looks like bull cape. Toro! Toro! Cespenar would be great bullfighter!

Okay, Cespenar done with contractual obligations to promote Kelsey. Must get back to polishing Great One's shrimp forks. You go be good big peoples and download Kelsey now.

Caspenar helped me make the best decision of my life, I installed Kelsey with hestitance, but after Caspenar's reassurance, I installed and I have to say it is wonderful.

I'll take a female of course, to play the romance, straight fighter, never taken one... think could be cool... (yesterday I've seen an
ENTIRE episode of Xena... shame on me!!!

So I want to do a similar character, straight fighter, and maybe restricting to use only light armor...

Also want to give harsh replays now and then, will it terminate the romance??

Then I'll have Jan, Anomen and Imoen, as I take it this will result in a lot of banter!!!
Oh, and will be harsh to Anomen too, but that's not a problem!

Is this combo good?
I want to see the Kelsey-Anomen banter, but will Anomen remain in the party in any case?? If I take him, I'll need him...

hmmm.... the sola mod looks to be chock full of goodness...

should be compatable with tashia, may have to reinstall...

bun bun ver 4, mostly cosmetic hanges...still kensai sorc,

but with MORE greater deathblows, more draw on holy mights...and yes, a new avatar, the elven mage lass. who looks kicking like judo with robe of vegan(oops, another freudian slip..), old, my fav avatar, or play around with female monk avatar...see if it likes two handed swords, and see if i get the kung fu fighting...yowsa!!!

and one genuine innovation..keldy dispell!!!works twice level of caster, and is not cpped at lv 20!!! wow...

get bun bun, aerie, drop jahiera, sola, tashia, my honey, who has completely replaced aerie for sheer cuteness...i know, i am fickle..

minsc, and yoshimo/nalia immie...

the sola mod looks to be the best one, for all the good stuff it gives you, but I still plan to stick with tashia, best of the romances in soa...give sola the good brushoff and whack him a bit with holy avenger if he gets frisky...

fighter in light armor? That would be a Swashbuckler, 3 in 2 handed weapon style, 2 in any theif weapon, very nice, im playing through as one now, and Im amazed at his tanking ability, using the Gareth from Theif: The Dark Project custom soundset and portraits.

I'd suggest saving the game. Kelsey's no Viconia, who enjoys taking and dishing out abuse.

If you do Kelsey and Anomen's romances together, Kelsey and Anomen have a total of seven interaction sessions--which is a ton.

K/Jan have three, and Jan makes Kelsey a present.

K/Imoen have two. Their TOB romance is quite a bit longer, but that's not released yet, of course.

Well, you might want to keep both of them around and flirty, that way you get all the interaction until they have their final conflict.

It is possible to resolve the conflict between them and keep both in the party, yes. Or you could botch it. It's up to you.

@JCompton: ok, I'll have to be a little more gentle...

By the way, what I've not said is that Imoen is not an option, she's always in my party (as many of the members here know well...

), actually didn't choose her for Kelsey... hmmm, so he'll dare romancing her????

Watch your moves Kelsey.....

Anyway, we are all waiting for the ToB content!!!
