Second Generation Project Image

Post by decadurabolin »

I read about Second Generation Project Images at Xyx's, I am not able to do it, when my Projected Image casts Project Image again, nothing happens.

Does second generation exists at all, or it had been removed in some patches or fixes?

@decadurabolin

I have bookmarked
Xyx's site. I can't find the sec gen PI either, maybe you could PM him and see if he had moved it elsewhere.

Cheers.

I casted Project Image, then Simulacrum.

The Simulacrum my Projected Image produced, can't use items nor attack, can only use spells and innate abilities.

When I cast Simulacrum first, then cast Project Image using the original me, my Project Image dont attack, even though she can, she only walks up to the enemy and act dumb, spell casting is normal.

hhm, yes, I think second generations images were removed by one of the
patches. (I approve the decision... the spell is already powerful)
The rest is absolutely normal...
Project Images are not allowed to attack, so neither are THEIR
Simulacra... only your own Simulacrum can attack, all the others are
additional casters! ;)

sorry, not true...i am a image guru, not simmy guru...dont like simmys, since i dont use them at all...images shapeshifted can attack...this is basis of mirrors of doom....

chain contingency 3 images, set condiiton helpless, and then cast project image. this will spawn 4 imges, and this is best done with bun bun, or fighter mage mult, so you have g whirlwind...

seach image casts spell immunity div and mislead, this will protect them from true sight,, but not dispell...simmys are immune to dispell, but both are vulnerable to deathfog and death spell, and symbol death and banshee wail...

then have each shapechange to squid head, and attack with g whirlwind...

4 attacks, with 5 int points drained per hit, id you can make it to intimate range ONCE you can kill anything in game...

bun bun would be idea for this, works on sewage golem, and immie...

one more thing...your mislead clone, and i suspect second generation images can attack, if you have groups of them selected...so cast mislead, cast wiz eye, and select clone and eye together to attack...while main pc is still mislead imp inv, can attack from different direction...

have fun...

If I take it User, you're saying that Images should NOT be able to attack, but while shapechanged are allowed, right?

I'll have to classify this as Cheese! :D

Good one, though.......
