My relationship with Aerie is going nowhere, I mean literally. I just had that pesky Haer'Dalis join my party and he and Aerie had the conversation about how how funny it is that he uses birdnames and so on. After that nothing happened for a long time. I even went out in the wilderness to rest a lot of times to see if something would happen but nothing did.
Isn't their supposed to be a setting of some sort that you can adjust? Something like Romance=43 or Lovetalk=45 or something like that? How do I go about that?
Also, I went to Baldurdash to see if their was a fix for this, but I got the 'You're not authorised to visit this page' bit. Did I insult them or something? I didn't mean to!
And what happened to sorcerers.net? Where did they go?

Next, what mods or patches do you have installed? Do you have ToB installed? Any of these can impact the romance.
I have no idea why Baldurdash is suddenly inaccessible (again). Sorcerers.net has been having problems - just keep trying.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
@Sojourner: "AerieRomanceActiveGlobal is set to 2". That means, uh, well, it means something good, right?
I've ToB installed and this patch that allows for all races to have romances and one or two bugfixes.
And thanx (again) for the real fast reply.

AerieRomanceActiveGlobal is set to 2 = very good, you've reached the committed stage. The next thing to check is her LOVETALK. Do this by holding your cursor over Aerie's portrait and entering the following at the console:
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("LOVETALK","locals")
What value does it return? Also, what chapter are you in? Many romance events will not occur in Chapters 4, 5, and 7.

@Coot - You've already reached the last romance dialog for Aerie in SoA. There will be a few more events affected by her romance in latter chapters - keep playing and you'll see. Since you've reached the committed stage with her, Haer'Dalis will not infringe too much upon your romance.

Really? That's it then? I remember when I did the Viconia and Jaheira romances there was a lot more happening and a lot more dialogue... Oh well. I'm pretty sure there will be some sort of continuation in ToB.
Thanks for the help though.

Yea, Aerie's romance in SoA is short compared to the others. I like how it turns out in ToB, though. If you don't already know, don't spoil it for yourself. Don't try to finish ToB too quickly, and remember to take a breather from the dungeon areas and to rest your party once in a while.

@Sojourner, I've no idea what will happen during the ToB-segment of the Aerie romance so I cant wait.
It's not easy to avoid information like that on these forums though. Luckily everybody around here is usually very careful when it comes to spoilers.
BTW, if TeamBG had any difficulties, it's been solved. Sorcerers.net is accessible once again.
