Multiple Kits

Post by Dewey »

Ok, I've played the game several times through solo, and I'm bored with it now. I'd like to try to play some weird character with more then one kit.

Is there a way to make something like a Kensai/Sorcerer/Assassin type character instead of a F/M/T?

thanks,
-Brandon

Create your own kit that will have the abilities of all the kits listed above and change xp tables so he'd level as slow as a multiclass. I downloaded a tutorial for kits and near infinity from teambg.net and that was enough to figure out how to build kits - all the stuff that wasn't listed in that tutorial can be easily understood from browsing *.2da file with near infinity.

heh, heh, heh...

search for "bun bun"

look for version 3, follow directions carefully and read all the read me files...

remove "finmel01" item from neck slot, this is god mode, makes you unkillable, thus no fun...mistake in my creation...

planning to post version 4 later, mostly cosmetic hanges and some interesting ideas...

designed for kelsey, solaufin and tashia mods!!!

new avatar, afteeer some careful testing of mage, fem, elven and monk fem...
They call me Darth...

I searched teambg.net but couldn't find the kit tutorial.

Re: UserUnfriendly
Is there a way I can make a straight dual or tri-kit character using shadowkeeper?

no, only one kit per multi class can be applied.

monk druid, which i tried to make last night, cannot be done. someone wanted some help...

but legal are

kensai thief multi...pick elven, apply kensai kit to fighter thief...

(all descriptions are elven, just easier, trust me...)

wiz slayer cleric, apply wiz slayer to fighter thief...

aerie gets to become cleric of lathander mage, really rocks...

thinking of turning solaufin when I get him into wizslayer mage...

should be fun, eh????

especially with firetooth crossbow, at high levels...

increase his already high magic resist...
They call me Darth...

could you do a barbarian/monk/kensai? That would be insanely powerful for soloing I would think.

Edit- Reasons why

Barbarians give you mucho hit points, immunity to backstab and resistances to physical damage

Kensais, well you know, AC, much damage/thaco bonuses, grand mastery.

Monks give you speed, immunities, magical resistances.

Not that ive ever tested this or anything =P just a spur of the moment idea I got

Basically a triple class consisting of three fighter kits.
It would have to be just a monk who is immune to backstab and gets resistance to physical damage as he levels and has rage ability plus the kensai bonuses as he levels... why not give him UAI aswell...

actually, that just might be doable...

first, youre going to be a monk, plain vanilla...

in the primary saved game, roll until you get stats you want, them comes the fun part...create a kensai, pure class, and then lv him up to 40 or so, using clua console, then copy over the affects, that list thaco bonus and damage bonuses into the monk affects list...

barbi, try creating a barbi, and see if you can spot the affect that specifies backstab immunit...monk part levels up as usual...
hmmmm...barbi are backstab immune...could add to bun bun!!!

then add enrage...if you want to be mean, and cheesy, look in korgans cre file for berserker enrage...barbi enrage does not protect from imprison!!!

yeah, sure you cannot create a triple class, but it is possible to apply two kits in some circumstances, especially if you know th eperks are saved in affects section of sk...

have created kensai-conjuror cleric before...was kicking like judo, but i love my bun bun...tho backstab immunity is nice...giggle...
They call me Darth...

I edited a monk once so that they could be hasted but not slowed. You could add that to your megamonk aswell. I cant remember which line it was.... there are three lines that look quite similar and they and it is one of them.

@Dewey

I am late in coming; here are the BUN BUN downloads:

BUN BUN 2

BUN BUN 1

Since User deemed BUN BUN 3 too ungodly with timestop immunity, I shall desist. You can still do a search though.

Have fun!

:)
