every time i press the m key to enter the map screen my game shuts down, it shows the map for a few seconds and "poof" im back in windows, what the hell is going on>?
why does it do this? it used to freeze in the map screen so i reverted to an old save and it worked, but now my only old saves are very VERY old

does anyone have any solution? please help

ps, just note that this only happens in the underdark

Seriously, don't use the map then. I have never found that I was in a life or death situation that could only be resolved by the immediate use of the map, so it shouldn't be that hard to avoid.

Like Fable said. Also, do you have any special traps set? Just setting one always crashes my game when looking at the map, in the area(s) where I have them set.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I'm too was having a problem like that,as I remember you can just re-save.
