Pickpocketing problem

Second thieves quest: got to take the Ondres Nerano key from one of his servants (Sovor Trandel) but when trying to pickpocket him looks like he got nothin to steal ... :confused:
Any1 able to help pls ? What am i doing wrong ?

According to the manual, repeated pickpocket attempts may yield different results. Now, being as I just figured out how to pickpocket after I finished that mission, there is another way to accomplish it.

If you repeatedly Persuade him with 100G donations, he eventually gives you the key. Yeah, it's expensive, but the reward for the mission is about the amount you spend on him.

i know exactly what your problem is. this same thing happened to me. i realized that at different angles/distances of the npc, you see different items. so try that, it worked for me

I simply killed Ondres (and got away with it) and took his key.... Not the right way but it was pretty fast.... The guy who gave me the mission wasnt to happy about it though....
