Crit hits are in the game...you just gotta be sneaking to do it, and monks are sneaky, if ur monk aint sneaky and have high agility then ur missin out, and you don't have to backstab them for it you just have to sneak up in front of 'em anywhere and hit 'em and it drops 'em hard, 4x damage
Word is neither deed nor product, but counterfiet misrepresentation of value.

Blunt Weapon = Loose alot of the defense. I dont know why, but I get alot more damaged of a Steam Centurion when using a phat mace than when I fight unarmed. Blunt weapons are 2ndary, wich makes them alot weaker, and you cannot block without a shield it seems.

Magic = Same as Blunt weapons, generally weaker becouse of the 2ndary skill issue.

Im 50 in unarmored and have AC 16. I almost never get hit thou, but when I get hit, it hurts.

So you reccomend reaching 100 in Sneak as quick as possible to be able to do critical hits with HtH?

If you get high illusion and chameleon then you should be able to have a HIGH chance of being able to crit hit alot and stay hidden. According to the book you can stay hidden even after attacks with that spell. I just think u're best chances with that spell is to be as much outta the light as possible.

I would normally think that's not the best way but you gotta understand what he's going through. That is to say he didn't cut any paths to get to the point he's at now. I just found out that my character that killed that high level person and grabbed her glass jinxblade is messed up BAD. The theives guild went ahead and fixed my horrible rep but now not even 1/2 the guild will talk to me. I LUVED messing with that blade while I had it but I see now that I'll have to start an earlier save and not get it this time :p

I'm cool with it though. I wasn't looking to cut any corners I just saw her in the room by herself and figured I'd give it a shot.

The 2nd time around with a new character I made that was basically the same except for 1 change had HUGE problems killing them all. I had to totally change my strategy. After I went through all that I noticed this time and the thieves guild that after he fixed me up he hated me and wouldn't talk to me anymore :(

Ok, I have a solution for the Monk's!
Enchanting a pair of normal gloves to do Lightning Damage, or poison, or flame... =)

I am depending on Sujamma for tougher fights...
It is the only alternative I found to make Monk-fighting easier so far.
Bad thing there is that my INT is set to 0.
