That's what my posting about RP'ing Morrowind is all about. Playing u're character and chatting with other players. To answer u're question about SS's I think everything is ok as long as you only do it in u're signature but I'm not 100% sure about that. I get the feeling that they just don't want you spamming webpages and stuff like that in u're message but I've seen many a person put in their signature info referring to what guild they're in and the likes.

My only suggestion is either talk to Fable and ask him what is appropiate or just set something up and if they don't like it they'll let you know and then you can change it :D

eh i don't powerlevel heh i just wander around doing whatever i want, i don't like linear stuff too much so i avoided the main quest for more the time i've played so far, i just go to cities talk to people wander the lands find more cities find more people find whatever's to be found just wandered around basically getting to know the lands, hell first thing i did when i got off the boat was run in a random direction and found myself to gnisis khuul ald velothi and a couple other places just wandering around untill i finally decided to go join the guild i had decided i wanted to join and after i joined that all i did was wander around for a while again, levels just sorta came naturally from talking with people finding books that give skills stealing lots of stuff etc, and yeah you could play as long as you have and still be level 3 if all you did was follow some quest or another and ignore everything else the game has to offer

Yeah I guess I should free myself from the shackles and run around a little more. Just that I'm afraid to go too far and get messed up with too strong enemies for my little ranger with 47 marksmanship, and 37 longsword skill. I'm too used to Diablo2 I guess, where if you walk too far, you be messed up fast coz it isn't balanced after what level you're at, only what the designer thought WOULD be your level when you advanced that far. So like, to enter "this" or "that" region you should be no less than lvl 25 etc. Not so in this game then?

most monsters are dynamically loaded to match your abilities

U're really level 42 or do you have have 42 skill?
Plus if u're level 42 then I'm guessing either u're almost through with the whole game or you sat and powerleveled skills all day long and u're really not far into the game.

I have found that you can kill people several levels higher than you though as long as you use strategy. I mean people only gain a max of 5 HP per level, and that's not squat.

I do think I'm going to start over though and pick Alteration instead of sneaking. My character is a fighter/mage and I really don't need anymore skill adjustments then STR/INT/and END I think. Although I have no endurance abilities at all. Maybe I'll also switch to medium or heavy armor which effect endurance. I could always use 5 more HP per level. :D

Hmm would be nice to be able to have several characters at once, like in Diablo..SO that autosaves on one character wouldn't overwrite the autosaves of another etc. Just a thought..

bah i didn't powerlevel i told you how i got to level 42 that's the truth, just wandering around learning of new places exploring, it's really an amazing place to explore always something interesting you'll happen upon, and there is no "length" in the game, it's too non-linear for a length, if you mean the main quest as i said i aint started it untill a short while ago though now i'm up to i just got rid of corprus in the main quest, not to mention i've done along the lines of 20+ quests for morag tong

Just remember, the higher the level, the greater the level of the random monster on roads, and some dungeon threats, as well. It's a tradeoff.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yeah, I am doing something wrong

I understand now, that you level when you use your major and minor skills. The other skills don't mean anything in terms of leveling. That is why I am stuck at level 4 and not advancing, because you need to concentrate on stuff you do best. SloppyNutz has probably been focussed primarily on his major/minor skills and being a thief/warrior kinda assassin killing NPC's...................well, he's doin it right. I'm a bard, I need to focus on other skills to advance faster, like speechcraft, alchemy or mercantile............which I have NOT been doing. More power to you SloppyNutz!

yeah fishhead got it figured out, my highest level misc skill is at level 16 and that's only cuz of the race bonuses to skills and i'm level 53 now, i've covered probly 65% of the map now and yeah i leveled a lot cuz when wandering, you run into lotsa monsters, monsters hit you, raising my medium armor skill which was in major, i hit monsters too, which raised my long blade skill, then when i came to a town, i talked to people, i would persuade them raising my speechcraft, i would barter the prices down raising my mercantile, but most of all i would rob them blind raising my sneak and security raises quickly when you unlock *EVER* lock you find, never know what ur gonna find...that's the real thing of this game that people don't expect because it's not in other games, in other games you do know what you're going to find, either godlike **** behind every door thats locked or empty rooms behind each or iduno i'm rambling but alls i'm sayin is when u explore, you truly don't know what you're going to find though i guarantee you'll find something, something like a shipwreck with 40 pillows and an invoice for them to be shipped somewhere, or some crazy wizards house who has a bunch of corprus victims in his basement, or maybe even a tomb that seems completely empty, but things are not always as they seem...

You must be tired after saying all that without taking a break

I just had to let you know that everything you just wrote was one big long rambling sentence. :D I have to say that if you can truly say all of that without taking a breath then you should be on guiness. hehehehehe :D :p I'm TOTALLY just giving ya flak, in fact I think it's funny. The most hilarios thing about u're post is that you realized 1/2 way through that you were rambling and u're face must've been turning blue but NOOOOOOOOO, you can't stop there, gotta make guiness (sorry for the spelling, I KNOW it's wrong) :p

I'm VERY curious to see u're stats, so get a SS of u're character and put it in u're profile so it won't be taken as the dreaded SPAM. :D I have seen people do links etc. in their signature so I think it's fine but if you really don't want to get yelled at ask Fable.

I'm TOTALLY looking forward to seeing the SS. If you don't know how to get one post here and I or someone else will let you know how
