Class changing via SK

Post by Aranan »

I'm trying to change Edwin into a sorcerer, but it just doesn't seem to work. Can someone tell me how to correctly do this?

first, erase all extra spells that will cause chain contingency and triggers and such to "drop" spells...if you have more than 8 spells per level, chain and sequencers can drop spells, so even though you have them, you cannot put them in a chain or sequencer...dont get meor than 8 spells per level....

your most like ly problem is you did not set the kit specification to true class...this is very important and sorcs are strange in class definitions....

set clas to sorc, and set kit to true class..try it, and you should be fine...
They call me Darth...

Darth Gizka!

Muwahahahahhahahha!!!

Ah, okay. Should I go ahead and erase all his spells and start him as a level 1 sorc then CLUA some XP to get him back where he was? That way I won't have to worry about getting different spells or deleting however many I need to..

Yeah, that would prevent any other possible problems. Remove all his spells, set all memorise things to 0 and change his level to 0 - that way you get the spells that a sorcerer normally get at level 1. Oh and you might want to change his HP as well, to 1; and remove the Proficients points as well.
