I had 62 once with blackrazor and 20 str

While using my Monk I got a 72 and I think I got an 82 but I'm not sure.

Monk 21st level
Gauntlets of crushing
Girdle of Frost Giant Strengh

72 is the highest I can remember as well.

Uh..., not including backstabs, that is.

edit: I'll have to test this out with my spear wielding half-orc Kensai when I get home.

I got a critical with a backstab once, that was well over 120+ damage, and my assasin only had 5X backstab, I wonder what it would be if he was at 7X

when u have a critical with a x7 backstab it is around 170 plus the poison it kill almost everything.

220+ was the highest I got as a backstab. I know others have gotten in the 250 range, but I seem to be lacking. Still..., it was enough to take down the 50ish HP mage I was killing. Cool light show afterwards.

Ahhhh, I love the glow of contingencies going off!
