I want my old Nintendo back

Post by Bloodstalker »

I was at my cousins house, and he pulled out his old Nintendo system. We started playing those old games, and now I wish I still had mine. I acturally miss those old games. Double Dragon, Mega Man, Metroid, Bionic Commando, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Contra.....man, I could go on and on.

So I was just wondering, what were your fav games from the old gaming system?

Let's see I've got NES 8, SNES, Sega Genesis - too bad my Sony PS was in my cousin

NES 8 :
Contra 1 & 2
Double Dragon 2 (Love that spinning tornado kick :) )
Ninja Gaiden/Ryukenden
Ninja Gaiden/Ryukenden 2 : The Dark Sword of Chaos
Ninja Gaiden/Ryukenden 3 : Ancient Ship of Doom
Legend of Zelda 2 : The Adventure of Link

SNES :
Art of Fighting series
Donkey Kong Country :D
Ninja Gaiden Trilogy (What can I say ? this game rocks :) )
Magic Sword

Genesis :
Super Shinobi
Super Shinobi 2 or Shinobi 3 in other country
Peac0ck King 2 (Kujaku Oh 2)
Bare Knuckle
Bare Knuckle 2 or Streets of Rage
Mazin Saga
Eternal Champions

Too bad some of them can't be played, I guess the sockets are dirty. Hence the platform can't read the game catridge :(

@BS : Check your PM :)
I'm not dead yet :D :p

My boy has a SNES - does that count? :) If it does, then for me it would be the Donkey Kong Country games, for him Mario Superworld - and the fact that he can also play all of his Gameboy games on it too ;)

I didn't realize we were going for mulitple systems. I've still got a functioning SNES, Genesis, and Colecovision (very old).

for SNES I'd have to say FIFA International Soccer is hands down, the best game ever made for it.

Zelda was also very good
Donkey Kong country series
NHL 96
sim city
civilization
uncharted waters
breath of fire
wizardry V
Bill Walsh College football
PGA tour golf
f- zero

Genesis
shinobi
all the sonics
kid chameleon

Colecovision - I only have one functioning game and i can't remember the name

super mario brothers 3

the epitome of platform games. marvel at it's beatifulnessity.
Here where the flattering and mendacious swarm
Of lying epitaths their secrets keep,
At last incapable of further harm
The lewd forefathers of the village sleep.
