K'Lethya found out that the fears of the Lolth followers were justified, (namely the drow allied with the SM have fallen off from Lolth) and is now trying to hide the fact that she knows this from the SM. She was about to leave his lair to repost to her superior when they stumbled over us.

If she gets back, there'll be soon drow sent against the SM. If she gets not back, her superiors will have no prove that the SM has played them foul and killed the investigators, above all because he may make it look like and accident. Another group would then have to be sent to investigate.

So, does anyone have any thoughts Re: this?

Political intrigue is not really up my alley, but I bet Thantor, T'Lainya, and Ned will get off on this.

@ Gwally: Actually, I thought Aqua-chan was going to assist you, which is why I didn't actually run into your location, just started in that direction. I really enjoyed what you wrote -- especially the sun-set torches at the end. I hope there is some way that it can be posted in some form.

I think this mix-up is mostly my fault here. I should have posted who I encountered and when before I went to blot all my thoughts down.

I can't remember to clearly, but I think I ran into either Gwally or Nippy when I got down there. Sorry if I started an issue here.

Right, I got it now. So I've run into Gwally. Glad somebody was able to clear that one up...whoo...Okay, I'm going to see what I can post here 'cause I was gone for so long and probably missed a lot of stuff.

I think it is great, personally. My sense of the political aspects of the story is that there will be a number of different plots and subplots, backstabbing, and shifting loyalities. I have a few ideas of my own in this regard that should stir things up a bit .... *wicked smile*

Note: I have edited my previous post to include the entrance of Aqua-chan. (plus cast aspersions on her character!)

I have also added a post that concludes Gwally's battle with the Drow Warrior.

@Ned: One cowboy skeleton coming your way!

Now, it would be nice if someone with a bow could cover Aqua-chan before the Entaglement wears off so we can question her: "Okay, missy! What have you done with our beloved Georgi?"

As for somebody with a bow... I guess DW mentioned using a bow, and she's already halfway there. If not, there's always Aegis or me.

Well, I think DW is busy "rolling" a dead drow.... so....
Who would I rather have to help out? The nubile, young, Mysteria or the scarred, one-eyed, Aegis? Now, who would I prefer? Who....?
