Favourite moment ... damn, I can't just pick one! :)

First of all, the dreams. I've been totally smitten by these dreamvision sequences ever since that first dream in the original Baldur's Gate.

Second, yes, fighting my first dragon (Thaxll'ssillyia). That thing was so BIG, it had me really cowed at first, though the dragons did all fall rather easily in the end (avoiding cheesy tricks on principle). Wing buffets are quite awesome to watch. The battle with Firkraag was also cool because it was personal. ;)

Third, the whole sequence of Irencius revealing himself in Spellhold, Yoshimo's forced betrayal, the soul-sucking ritual, the following dream ... then later the involuntary Slayer change, killing poor Yoshi after Irenicus flees, then the Slayer dream ... I've rarely gotten so thoroughly sucked into a game.

For sheer amusement value, nothing tops the Spectator in the City-of-Caverns. :D

Listening to the exchange between Ellesime and Irenicus at the Tree of Life was quite touching and almost made me feel sympathy for the bastard. Almost, that is. And then I thoroughly enjoyed killing him! ;)

Waking up in Hell ... daddy's home sweet home, eh?

Taking on Sarevok (again) one-on-one with my main character ... that was probably the most satisfying moment in the game. Take that, Mr. You-are-such-a-weak-and-unworthy-fool, and dare claim again that you're sooo much better than me!

Then there were the demons calling me "young Lady of Murder", which rather sent a chill down my spine. While I do play a good PC, I hope there'll be more such displays of demonic reverence in ToB -- it really drives the point home that the PC is Bhaal's daughter (or son).

But the moment that got me involved and excited the most was probably when I entered Spellhold for the first time and finally got to see Imoen again. That was a real rush of relief, only to be replaced by anger upon seeing what my poor, cheerful little sister had become.

Damn, what a game.

My finest moment was when the first time i defeat firkragg (spelling?) & obtain the carsomyr....i always use paladin for the first run of the game...& at that time, i still haven't check the statistic of the holy avenger....when i obtained it & identify it...wow....it's so powerful...the feeling is so great....

I'd have to say attacking the silver dragon the first time. My solo mage cast lower resistance...and the dragon went hostile to a sudden outburst from the soundtrack. Very cool music (only heard fighting her as far as I know--a pity since it's one of the best tracks of BG2 IMHO).

Being dragged down to hell for the finale was pretty cool, too.

My favorite moment is a bit of interaction between Korgan and Viconia, when she asks him if he may know of her House in the Underdark. Can't remember exactly what he says, but it's something to the effect of, yeah, i killed 'em all, burned the House down, and pissed on the ashes. I was on the floor.

A most satisfying moment is when Tolgerias bites the dust in the Planar Sphere. He's one of the major slimeballs in the game and a Cowled Wizard as well. There is no way I'm paying money to those guys just to cast spells in Athkatla - keep em coming!

The Beholder lines in Saughin City...

My no.1 moment in the game: when stepping out of the Irenicus-dungeon. It's so amazing, seeing Athkatla the first time...all the racket and noises everywhere, it's just so beatiful. And it keeps comin better and better as you explore the city of coin. It's just amazing.

other great moments:
the final fight with Bodhi, with the paladins and shadow thieves included.

the moment before the final fight against Irenicus, when all the NPC's say what they've gotta say and also before going down the stairs to the tree of life or whatever the name is.

when Jan discovered that the old woman in the house in the Druid Grove is actually a rakshasa :)

when Anomen gained knighthood

when entering the High Hall of the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart for the first time

and of course, when fighting some vampires in the streets and some guards or other ones capable to fight join the battle against those foul undead beasts.

I just love this game. It's the best ever done. For real.
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. They called out for a champion.........one man answered that call. His name, was Robin Hood. Fearless in his quest for justice Robin Hood challenged the power of the high warlords. While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............

Have to mention this one too: soloing Mazzy the Bow Goddess through the Beholder dungeon, pelting them with arrows, while the Cloak of Mirroring forced the monsters to commit suicide!!! I just laughed all the way through...
