Hmm

Isn't he in the house labeled as "The haunted house of St. Olms" or something? I'm pretty sure I saw him there... You enter a room and there are some stairs leading down, with a locked door of about level 50, then he's there with some other guys as well.

Thanks but I am done

I finished the main quest. It was very foolhardy of the designers to make it so you have to pick a lock to solve a quest on the main line, my picklocking skills are ziltch, when I first started looking for Dram, I saw that locked door in the haunted manor, I was just going to try to pick it to see what goodies were there but I could not, I tried the masters lockpick, and 3 journeymans lockpick, then I tried 2 Odesies Unhinging scrolls, AND I have an open door spell, none of them did a level 50 door, SO 2 days later all the while looking in every corner of Vivec I got bored, so I cheated using the console to open that door for the heck of it, and low and behold, there he was, I was so mad at the designers of the game, was a VERY stupid thing to do.

I remember in the old Arena (Elder Scrolls I) you could bash open doors and chests.

I used to carry around a big hammer for just such an occassion.

I really enjoyed being able to bash things open - it's a shame that feature was not included in this game.
