Okay, Sir Chanak, I'll help you in your quest for cheesy goodness. First make a multi-class fighter/mage. Now, with SK, change his kit from 'Pure class' to 'kensai'. Copy the appropriate number of kensai bonuses for your fighter's level from another kensai PC of an equivalent level, play on and watch your enemies die from the might of a multi-class kensai/mage. For extra cheese give him UAI so he can wear bracers and helmets.

Ancient times they had no statistics so they had to fall back on lies
"I'm invinceable"
"your a loony"
I'd rather be rich than stupid.
If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

@ Chanak -- There is another evil character quite liking: Korgy. He's pure evil, yes, but he's the most funny NPC of the game. IMO, he's even better than Jan.

@Aubrey:
I had heard that Korgan was pretty funny. I guess the idea of a chaotic evil dwarf never rested well with me, but perhaps I'll give him a try in the multi-player party I started (I wanted to put a few of my own characters in the party, such as a fighter I dual-classed to a thief). I'm sure he'll make a fine addition to the melee squad.

Oho! One's forays into partaking of the cheese platter should be but a modest sampling to satisfy the curiousity of the discerning palate. An aching stomach, and ruined dinner, results when one consumes too much!
Me, I'm just curious.
@Rattman:
Druids believe extremes have their place in the balance: evil dragons, lawful good paladins, and chaotic neutral thieves, as examples of these extremes. Their nullifying of one another is what maintains the balance. For one to extinguish the other, without itself being nullified, is what upsets this "balance." That's why Jaheira never complains when your party reputation falls somewhere in the middle. I've never earned a low rep, so I'm not sure if she complains when it's low - but I bet she does. Here's my guess - "we should strive to maintain balance."
A druid would not mind a dragon or the Order of the Most Radiant Heart, nor would he mind if one took action against the other - as long as it was a response they deemed in harmony with the balance. Paladins slaying a dragon that was ravaging the countryside would be welcomed by a druid. Paladins slaying a dragon simply because it was evil would probably be opposed by a druid.
So no, Jaheira shouldn't hate either the Radiant Heart, nor Firkraag. IMO, a druid should oppose the slaying of Firkraag in SoA.

@ Chanak;
I see. Be careful...a soupcon of cheese here, a micron thick slither of cheddar there...and before you know it, you're sitting on top of your own cheese island surrounded by mounds of the stuff, yelling 'BRING ME MORE CHEESE DAMMIT!!!!' at your elite squad of cheese hunting mice.
As a druid maybe not (unless draggy was scorching forests for fun), but as a Harper she'd be well up for it. IMO druid and harper don't sit well together. Its NG ranger/cleric next time for you my girl.
My knowledge of the Forgotten Realms outside of the game is zero, so I may be wrong...are druids traditionally associated with the harpers?

It's more good characters, bards and rangers, but druids are also often affiliated with them. Check the Harpers' description in your BG2 manual.

I think the Harpers are meant to be good, but you're right, bards and druids tend towards neutrality. I'd say it's just one of those weird, doesn't-quite-fit bits that Bioware occasionally added. Like Aerie being a cleric/mage multi even though she's an elf, and Anomens wisdom being too low for him to dual-class.

What confuses me most concerning the "neutral" Harpers are some of their membership - most notably Elminster (NG mage), and, if I'm not mistaken, Khelben "Blackstaff" Arunsun (another good aligned mage). Khelben might not be a member, but Elminster sure is. My knowledge of the Realms is a bit antiquated, dating back to a time when a 10MB hardrive was the cat's meow. Sigh...
@Ode:
The only thing that I can think of concerning Aerie's class combo that may justify it - though I'm not 100% positive - is that she's Avariel, a winged elf race. They may be permitted to be cleric/mages. Good grief, I remember seeing that race in a Dragon magazine back when 5 1/4" floppy disk drives were the cat's meow. Sigh...

Congrats Chanak!
I'm starting to like Jaheira! she's strong!!!
Also noticed that she'll have to choose between fallen and normal deva... so our "neutral" char is MEANT to choose a clear path in the end......

@Littiz:
Jaheira's quite alright. Treat her well and she delivers, and you won't have to be constantly worried about her. As I progressed into ToB, her high level abilities (and decent equipped items) helped to make her a nice melee/missle/spell kind of character. While she doesn't have the massive hp of a tank like Sarevok, she can melee quite well. Hey, I would give her a baalor or pit fiend for a homework assignment, and she would always turn it in on time.
