Quest questions *possible spoilers*

Post by CtrlAltDel »

there is a guy outside of caldera that asks you to help him find a witch that stole his clothes and his beloved axe. Well I tried to find her, but I cant.

Has anyone found her?

The other quest that I have a problem doing is where you have to go to the SouthWall and ask Scottide about some 'code book' well I asked him and he didnt want to talk to me about it. I tried to 'persuade him' and now he is at 0/100 and wont talk to me :(

Any help anyone?

I'm looking for the same thing

... I haven't found her either  And I looked for over an hour. However, on another forum, I found a post from someone who has found her (he didn't say where), so apparently she exists. (I also read the developer diary of the guy who maintained the quest, and he says he was very diligent about it, so I assume it's just us who are ninnies.)

Hopefully someone will take pity on us and tell us where she is.

She doesn't look like a typical witch. And she's standing right in the middle of the road up a bit from where you found the quest. I looked for a long time too without luck and finally found her right in the road. :)

She takes bribes, or conversely, what I did since I'm a cheap bastard. I didn't want to give up 200 gold to get her to 75/100 (at which point she'll give you the book), so I sold her arrows, 1 arrow at a time. She gives you 1 gold for each arrow, and if you don't haggle with her, the relationship increases by 1 point everytime you make a transaction. At 75, I made about 30 gold and she gave me the code book.

I found her but only after I lost the guy who asked for the quest!

I went back to Balmora for some reason, and at some point, he just wasn't there with me. Never found him again.

I finally found her (thanks!) I was conflicted as to how to end the quest (I won't spoil it for anyone.) The funny thing is, as I proceeded north towards Al'Drhun after finding the witch, I stunningly found a SECOND naked barbarian on the side of the road, who had his clothes stolen by a witch! Was it the same witch?... I'm wondering how many naked barbarians on the wayside there are in this game.

I just thought I would share this funny episode with everyone.

code

How do you get the code book from her? I have a 100/100 with her but all she does is tell me about the situation, I don't get an option to take it. also is there anyway to finish the quest that will satisfy the thieves guild?

Hydro123456 I just stoled the book from her. Just stand near her with your conrtol button pushed and wait till your icon turns on and when you are close enough to make here name come on just press the space bar and it's there. Click on it and leave.

supposedly if you are a member of the thieves' guild she will NOT give you the book, but if you aren't then she will. If you are a member of both guilds and want to remain in good standing in both, then you have to pickpocket her for it. I found that chameleon or invisibility helps.
