A question about the first quest

Post by Chanak »

I have a question for anyone who is farther along in the game than I am - I just started it about an hour ago! Anyway, I'm in the first town, and I was curious as to the best choice - travel by silt strider to deliver that package, or travel on foot the long way?

There is no better way. It's all the way you want to play. My own personal opinion is to walk, but it's literally up to you. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Indeed - that's mine as well. Considering how I fared against my first foes, I'll probably do well against whatever lies ahead on the road.

I'm rather enjoying this game, thus far. :)

RE:

If you've got some money (there are certain possibilities) and some knowledge about whreabouts, you might consider to look for better equipment in Balmora first. The road is worth to be taken, anyway, and there's reason, too. Not spoiling anything i'd say it's related to joining one of factions. This is supposed to be mostly educational trip or so i guess.
