This is frustrating! I have Windows XP and a Radeon 8500 Video Card but I can't get the dang 3D Acceleration to work properly.
If anyone out there can help me I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you.

What exactly isn't working properly with the 3D acceleration?
Most people say it actually detracts from the game anyway.
You could check ATI's site for driver updates to the 8500

A Must: Get your drivers for your graphics card updated. I had the same problem with XP, and that solved it.
