Chameleon is easy to overlook as a constant effect, because you can't put all that much magnitude in any one item.
The good news is, Chameleon stacks
Exquisite shirt and pants can hold 12 each. Exquisite belt holds another eight. You can cram 24 into an exquisite ring or amulet. Armor can hold a few points, if neccessary.
End result? Constant effect 100% chameleon. MUCH better then constant effect invisibility, which disappears when you break the spell until you re-equip the enchanted item. With that much chameleon, you can pretty much steal anything from anywhere or anyone.
I have Sneak maxed and constant Chameleon at 50% or 72%, depending on ring/amulet selections. The higher rating works great in dungeons or in the wilderness because I'm always dealing critical damage to whatever I hit...it's great.
The only (very minor) negative is that you pretty much have to take off your Chameleon gear in town or when you want to talk to someone. You'll often get the "Who's There ?" response and lose some reaction...I like to be a sociable Assassin
read in a gamefaq somewhere that if youget all constant effect sanctuary, which affects your chances of being hit, with good chothes and get it up to 100%, you are invulnerable to meelee...with breton and atronach sign, and the archmage amulet, you are invulnerable to everything...
constant effect is too silly for words...love it..
might make ezquiste ring with high chameleon for fun....
has anybody ever made a ring of wild levitate???
plan to try it, will keep feather fall belt on, tho...
