Eclipse Party Impossible?

Post by genxooseven »

First time running into the Eclipse Party and I was wondering if they were even possible to beat? Dunno, but my parties pretty much dead once the mages cast time stop. Anyone wipe them out before? If so I'd like to know which methods worked other than CTRL-Y'in them.

Don't know...my game broke just before they were due to appear. But have you read the hints that come with the mod readme?

i beat them once (6 bun buns :p )

and i done a little dance around my room to clebrate my victory

it took me about 4 days (real time) to beat them and even than i still came limping out
Ancient times they had no statistics so they had to fall back on lies

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

mebbe spoilers :p

that mod puts the I in the f*cking impossible i say! encounters that were once done without even saving take 4 reloads, forget about taking on liches on lvl 10, i tried and pc got fried before he got to swing a one hit...

i'm not complaining actually, i've been looking for some challenge in the game, it was ridicuosly easy on the first run through and even more easier in the next 7, but with sola mod, oh mama, my ass has been whipped from black to blue and back again so many times, i have to sit on my face :p

but atleast there's some challenge in the game now, although i have to run to the government district to buy the license to cast spells, or the thugs in the streets will kick me too  and that ain't funny i tell you, durlags tower without a thief would be walk-in-a-park compared IMO

Anti Paladin my friends, the only way to take down those nasty liches (at level 9-10) without using valuable scrolls, and all the other mages for that matter. 3 hits with any weapon and a mage/lich is completely defencless- time to hack 'em to pieces :D
Resurrection & Insurrection- juxtaposed in emancipation
