Dwemer Puzzle Box (Spoiler Request)

Post by Chanak »

I was wondering if someone could assist me with part of the first Blades quest. I've scoured the Dwemer ruin looking for the puzzle box - and killed plenty of people along the way - but I just can't seem to find the thing. I've been to plenty of places - including the place where you must jump a lava chasm, then fight a guy with a war hammer - but come up blank. I've heard it's somewhere near the entrance, but the info I perused was rather vaguely written, and not very helpful. Could anyone furnish me with clear directions to it, starting from the entrance to the ruin? Thanks. :)

Everyone figures it's at the end of the dungeon. Surprise - it's at the beginning :)

When you first enter the dungeon you descend to the floor of that really tall room. Across the way from you is a set of doors in the side of the wall. ABOVE them is a another level with more doors. You can access it either by climbing up another rock formation or by levitating. In there you'll find a very small area and a guy named boss crito you have to kill. On some shelves behind him, you'll find the box.

Aha! I shall go wrap that one up ASAP. I never paid much mind to anything above me in that room. I shall learn, one day. Thanks! :)
