What you could do is go get the mace in the blood pool, then if you haven't already done it, do the Sir Scarles art quest, but then take the Illitium and the mace to cromwell and he'll make it plus 2 and giv you immunity to level drain! That'll help a lot unless you are an undead hunter or barbarian, how do you like those apples

What happens if you've done the Sir Sarles quest? Isn't there any way to do both. I bought the fake illithium and real stuff. But gave the real stuff to Sir Sarles since he doesn't excpet the other. Can I give the fake stuff to Cromwell?

if you have both equipped at the same time, sarles will always take the true ilithium..drop the true one before talking with him..when he finds it fake, bring the false to your temple for a good chunk of xp..sorry to say it, but youre screwed if you gave it away..and there is a bug in the basic mace of disruption, meaning that its forced death save versus undead if faulty, the -4 doesnt get added, only with the ilithium improved mace
wrong, the thaco never improves..and bio have said that weapons with multible enchancements will always count as the base one when determining critters to hit..like with daystar +2 normally, but +4 versus evil, but it could only hit monsters that could be hit by +2 weapons
only the damage is improved versus undead, its a +2 weapon, i think you are confusing it with crom faeyr, which goes from 3 to 5 in thaco

Lucian, Bruce Lee was talking about the enchantment level on the mace, not the THACO. If you look at it with Infinity Explorer, you'll see that it is indeed a +5 weapon (with +2 THACO). The Daystar, by comparison, is only a +2 enchanted.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

the thaco denotes the enchantment level, on what it can hit, i know that from AD&D, not the damage bonus
and take a sword +2, +5 versus trolls will have extra damage and a thaco bonus versus trolls, BUT it can only hit trolls that is suspectible to damage from +2 and less because of an engine limitation, a programmer explained that when the question of daystar not being able to hit kangaxx because it counted as +4 versus evil..the weapons cant have multiple enchantments, though in pnp i strongly believe a sound judgment would be to allow daystar to hit the demilich

In this game it works like this:
There is a thac0 bonus. There is a damage bonus and there is the enchanted to hit. They have nothing to do with eachother. Also there are options to add damage and/or thac0 bonuses to certain creature or alignment. The enchanted to hit stays the same for a weapon no matter what you fight against and has nothing to do with thac0.
