Spellhold without a stake

I have reached spellhold and completed everything up to when you have to stake Dace Sontan to aquire his hand to procede. Without luck, I wander aimlessly through the asylum looking for a stake. I didn't save a game before I entered the asylum to fall back on. I was wondering is there any solution to my problem?

Hi,

Yes, one of the kobolds I believe has a stake. Check all the bodies by the crystal thing.

I am not sure if I remember correctly .. But the enclosure outside the library (where Dace Sontan's spirit shows up) where you might have battled a Bone Golem and some skellies has a collection of urns that you can peak into. I remember finding some stakes there too. Note that there are I think 3 urns there you can look into.

But yes .. the kobold fellows had one too.
