What do you get from Adalon the Silver Dragon for Egg Quest?

I couldn't save the matron mothers daughter in time and cannot complete the egg quest and was wondering what I would be missing in experience and item wise.

You didn't really lose anything besides xp. I'm pretty sure you can walk back into town, kill all the drows, including the Matron Mother, and take the loot you were supposed to get off her body when your done with the quest. After doing that walk over to the Adalon and kill her for the crossbow and other items she has. Probably lost atleast 120K in xp for each character though.
