Hmmm... had you ever considered a holiday in Arizona? :D

I'm sure Gwally would like it if CE took a holiday in Arizona, but I doubt somehow that he would be attired in an evening gown for the event.... :D :p

Of course...in such heat....it might have untold benefits....previously unavailable ventillation potential, for example! :p :eek:

We're posting pet pics now are we? Okay, here's one of my two 'dog patrol' members, this one's a Jack Russell called Sassy (he's a male BTW, why he's called Sassy is a long story)

Well, your loss then :)

As to the beauty contest....They are designed to hurt people's feelings and I am against anything that does that. *hug* However, a SYM calendar on the other hand would have everyone so that's okay :)

Nice pets, DW and Ode :)

Check out Gruntboy's Hall of Honour thread for some composites of the pix that have appeared in this thread.

I am of course aware of the possibility, but I view it as very slim indeed. If Thantor's genes were entirely recessive, then his wife must be a stunning beauty, and it's not likely that a very beautiful woman would pick a hunchback, green-skinned teethless mate. On the contrary, cross-cultural studies where people rate the attractiveness of persons, show that a vast majority of people pick mates that are similar to themselves in rated attractiviey.

Dammit, I was trying to flatter him into posting his picture, and here you start talking about recessive genes and all that I tried to avoid focusing on. :D Let's try the flattering strategy first, since he referred to "sparing us the horror". If this doesn't work out, we can change over to a shame strategy :D
Oh, so you are going to bring societal trends into the picture? Well, I am forced to point out that Thantor may very well have certain redeeming qualities that attracted his ‘stunning beauty’, though he may remains physically repulsive. Perhaps he once swooped down from his bell tower to rescue her from an angry mob as Quasimodo did for Esmeralda? Maybe he enraptured her with his poetical prose and abilities at sword play as Cyrano to his Roxanne? Of course, she may not have had any choice in the matter, and he could have captured her and is even now forcing her to give voice to the melancholy opera he has written, as a Christine Daae trapped in the underground world of The Phantom.

Okay, okay. I’m trying to be positive here…. :p

I think that if we keep ridiculing him then we can at least have some fun even if he never posts a picture! :D

Being an archeologist, I bow to your greater intimacy with unearthing trapped entities that formerly occupied the Underground. I will say, though, that it is fortunate you will not be around when I tell my wife your conception of her. :p :D

@HighLordDave:

Muchos gracias for the shortcut.

Ok, I've summoned up the guts to put my own pic here.

@T'lainya:

Thanks. I have noticed that things can be rather...overstimulating... in here. Hehe. If I put blinders on, I wonder if that would help. :)

Cool beard @Chanak. :cool:

Here's the first piece of advice got when I came into SYM: Never trust Weasel or the mods. It's held me in good stead so far, though I think it should be amended to include "avoid Georgi" too.
