I just don't want him to be emasculated, that's all. While it would undoutedly be very entertaining (though not, perhaps, to him), if he were to be found out we'd be down one next-gen SYMian.Originally posted by Beldin

It's just a matter of organisation to avoid being found out... in extreme cases you'll have to enlist the help of some "outsider" (best friend, your mother....) to help in keeping up appearances..Originally posted by Ode to a Grasshopper

Of course it would - provided that you tell them both you are seeing somebody else too until you have made your mind up, and that they both accept this.
I say...go ahead and tell them both...the worst thing that could happen...they both say no way..(I could think of worst...but let's not go there.)

hehehe, the likely hood of them agreeing with me seeing someone else is very, very slim. So far I think weasel (astonishinly) has come closest to the actual solution.
My real question is would it be possible to do it without them knowing??

1.Are they in the same town?
2.Are their names "alike"?
3.Do your friends know both?
4.Can you trust your friends?
5.Do either lose hair easily?
6.Do you clean your car regularly?
7.Do you keep pictures of "her" at home?
more later...but this should be a good start.

Weasel's mind scares me sometimes.
1. Word will get around.
2. One misspoken name will lead to more trouble.
3. You have this one covered.
4,As well as this one.
5. DON"T ASK! The meaning of this, one stray long hair will lead to more trouble.
6. See the one stray hair on the front seat..(I know you don't)..but bet money she will.
7. I was ahead of myself here. (Thinking you was already going with one of them)
I advise..tell the least likable one first...(She might tell you to go take a ... you know what I mean) If she agrees, then try the other. Now if you want to try to see both... Good Luck

...mighty Weasel may have lied his way through things (at some point in time ), but to accuse/brand him of cheating is totally unjustified.Originally posted by Beldin

hahaha, well. I think I've narrowed it down to one.
Heres a breif synopsis.
One, goes to a different school, is in my grade, is the SRC leader, athletic, really quite intelligent, and can drive. She's also very, very attractive.
The second, goes to my old school, and I will bet here next semester. She's a year younger, really fun and cute. And oddly enough, I think I'd be happier with her.
So my decision, try it with the one I like the most first, if that doesn't work, I at least have a fallback, Im pretty confident in its workableness.

Ya, logically, I'd take the other one, but to hell with logic.
Took her out last nite to see Lord of the Rings movie at the cheap seats. Man, I forgot how full of cheese and how long that movie is. It is still very good though.

To Aegis: Siggghhhh...it's tough.
@Aegis:
As one who has suffered agonizingly during my teens and 20's (and now in my 30's ), I'd like to offer you some counsel in regards to your trials. That is what they are, btw: trials.
This really doesn't apply to the other gender (female), as my experience has shown me males and females do react and develop differently. Keep that in mind. Most of it has to do with how we are reared, though a few things are the fault of how we are wired internally. Let's face it: guys and girls are different.
Believe it or not, the hormonal urges/surges you experience color everything you perceive. Add to this the filter that your conscious mind strains everything through, and what you end up doing is looking at everything through dark sunglasses.
Despite religious beliefs to the contrary, there really is only one being truly capable of deceiving you: yourself. The best con-man knows that all he needs to do is supply the rope: the tying of the knot, and the hanging, is done by his victim.
This is what I'm getting at: don't trust your own judgement right now. There is a better way, and a more difficult way, to negotiate the trials of existence. The more difficult way is to do what I did (and still do, sometimes) for most of my life, which is trust my own feelings and intellect. The better way is to listen to what others outside of your situation have to say. They're not seeing things through the same dark glasses you are, and so their vision is more clear. They're also much more likely to grasp the truth of the situation. And if they're older than you, they've also learned how emotions and hormones can alter your perception of reality. It's a fact that they do.
I am an example of one who has been learning this through one long, drawn out process.
With all of that said, there's one more thing I'd like to add: considering the other person. It doesn't come easy, nor is it exactly the first thing that comes to mind. I think there's three ways to travel in your situation: 1. react only from your feelings, which are of course wrapped in desire unfulfilled; 2. manipulate the circumstances in order to fulfill that desire, which possibly means using deception, or guilt, to achieve what you desire; or 3.) Toss everything to the wind, making the decision that you'll go through this in order to learn how to eventually master the emotions and hormones that surge through all of us males like wildfire.
Considering the other person involves deciding to go down the road of #3. It's the only way. If you truly have regard for her, and not just desire for her, then you'll have to protect her from numbers 1 & 2.
IMO, #3 is the way to go. There's been some great advice for you from others here, which can be summed up in three words: let it go. And believe me, I know exactly how you feel.

Then to hell with let it go. Do whatever you feel like. The popular answer may not be the right answer. We have NO idea who this dashing young lady is. The advice we give is based solely on our own personal experiences. If you want her bad enough, go for it. For all I know, she may be playing hard to get. Or shes scared of letting someone into her life, or shes afraid of risking the frienship you 2 have developed. The fact is, I dont know. You know better then anyone what the best course of action is. The safest is let it go. If it means that much to you, and it hurts to much to let it go. Then dont. Keep trying. Persistance pays off.
