More exp in Bodhi's Quest

Post by elephantman »

Which has more experience, the quest to save the guy being interrogated by the Shadow thieves OR killing the guy at the Gov't District with his cloak and dagger?

Is the cloak and dagger worth anything?

I have it but I did the rescuing quest instead.

Don't know if they're worth anything, but the cloak turns your character a rather natty shade of grey when you put it on... :)

Offhand, I'd say you get more experience from rescuing the man who's being held by the Shadow Thieves, because you get to kill more people. You also get more treasure from the corpses.

The Shadow Thief dagger is just a plain old dagger and you can't get more than 10 gold pieces for it. The Shadow Thief cloak doesn't do anything but change your screen colors, and you can't get more than 300 gold pieces for it, if anyone will even buy it from you.

Frankly, I think you're obsessing over details instead of following your heart and getting into the game and enjoying the storyline. Your character is going to become very rich and extremely powerful no matter what path you take, so don't worry about "how do I get the most" all the time. Just make sure you leave Brynnlaw with Saemon Havarian if you want to make sure you don't miss a quest. (You'll know what I'm talking about when you come to it.) And then go tithe at a church like a good little Paladin. :) j/k
