Does anyone know of a fix for the following?
After installing ToB, I returned to a running game in Shadows of Amn. Now it seems like most of the critical NPCs that provide quests or information often won't talk to me. Some merchants too, but less often. When I approach, I get a message "Cannot initiate dialog. xxxx appears busy." Sometimes, not often, moving on to another one works, but often I must quit the game completely to reset them and then the second or third NPC I 'talk' to starts it all over again. Once one goes silent, they all do.
Anyone know of a fix, or at least a workaround?
